Worship

Worship is the heart of everything we do here at Talmadge Hill Church. All of our activities and our outreach activities grow out of our regular gatherings as a community in worship. Worship is a celebration of life with excellent music, a warm sense of welcome and a useful inspiring message.

Children are welcome to attend the service with their parents and then usually they are excused to their Sunday School classes during the sermon and communion.

What to Expect:

  • You will feel immediately welcome.
  • You will find a relatively diverse collection of folks with dramatically varied religious beliefs who share a common desire to deepen their spiritual lives.
  • You will feel the warm and friendly atmosphere that encourages authenticity over propriety.
  • You will be moved by the powerful and inventive music.
  • You will be able to take with you a message that can nourish your soul and delight your spirit.

Each Sunday we offer Communion during both services and because of our commitment to radical hospitality we welcome to the table anyone who chooses to share this sacrament. Parents are invited to speak with their children and determine together whether the child is ready to participate. If you come from a different faith or orientation to the communion please follow your own conscience and know that you are unreservedly welcome.
